My goal with this blog was originally to share my experiences with the ancient forests of the Northwest. You have no idea what it feels like to be in close proximity to these wonders. I still plan to do that but I have other plans first.

My groups mates said it would be good to share my hair loss story because I am still affected by it even though I have the hair loss under control. I still label myself as a women without her hair which is strange because I do have my hair now. I really didn’t think I would have that much problem with physical attributes but I guess that was because I was always pretty and had thick, beautiful hair.

Once I started to lose the hair I found help at the Hair Restoration Blog and I can’t say enough about the great information they provided. If you are losing your hair then visit them for help.

I really wasn’t planning on sharing this but I have been told that I need to let people know about things that bother me. One of the most embarrasing situations I have been is losing part of my hair. You see my Dad was bald and my uncles on both sides of the family were bald and even my older brother started losing his hair quite early. But I didn’t really think anything of it because I didn’t know young women could actually lose their hair. Was I wrong.

I started noticing hair in the shower during college and it continued to get worse. Before I realized it I was having thinning hair problems. At first I said it wouldn’t bother me but, in reality, I really did feel less of a women with my beautiful hair falling out. The worse part was I felt so alone because I didn’t know who to share my problems with. I don’t want to have you feel the same way.

I found help at the Hair Restoration Blog and I think it would be good for you to go there too and find out what can be done if you are losing your hair. It used to be that the only option for women was to get a wig and use that but I am active and a wig would really not work at all for me.

Living With Ancient Trees

If you have never walked through an ancient forest you will not understand how powerful the experience can be. Knowing that these trees were growing before our country was a country is an amazing experience. In fact, it is really like being in a museum except everything is alive around you. The trees tower over you shutting out almost all the sunlight and the duff on the ground,composed of the remains of centuries of living and dying trees, is so think it is like walking on air.

The silence is deafening as you walk through the forest in any direction and your steps don’t make a mark. I never understood eternity until I found the endless living and dying in the ancient forests of the Northwest.
